Their impact extends further, encompassing a financial literacy class to inspire and empower individuals aged 15 to 65.
LOVE ONE
Love One has been a guiding light for families navigating the adoption process. Their mission swiftly expanded to include support and licensure for foster families, serving as a vital connection point for churches, adoption agencies, local ministry partners, and child welfare agencies. Contributing to over 200 adoptions, Love One's primary objective is to prevent children from entering foster care by keeping homes trained and open. They work to extend the typical one-year lifespan of foster homes, offering unwavering support to foster families.
CHATHAM SAVANNAH AUTHORITY FOR THE HOMELESS
Chatham-Savannah Authority for the Homeless is on the road to achieving functional zero homelessness in the Savannah community by providing individualized assistance to each person experiencing homelessness. As the leading agency in Savannah for the continuum of care, CSAH employs a three-pronged approach to homelessness. They conduct street outreach, manage data systems, provide training, and lead housing development efforts.

Shelter from the Rain is dedicated to nurturing a community of resilient, economically self-reliant single mothers through comprehensive initiatives encompassing education, mentorship, personal and professional development, homeownership, and holistic well-being. In a city where 40% of households are led by single moms, Shelter from the Rain employs a distinctive approach, combining one-on-one mentorship with community support. Through these meaningful connections, Shelter from the Rain has strengthened its bonds with single mothers, local businesses, and faith-based organizations in the Savannah area.
